Around the hood

I should learn my lesson about "wandering around" with the kids. I need a plan. Ended up walking down load and wholesale avenues today instead of the quaint neighborhood streets I was imagining, but still, we managed to find the park and some beauty:

 An amazing Jewish bakery in the Marais. We devoured a piece of almond honey cake, some challah bread and brought home some poppy torte and apple struedel with poppy seed.....divine!

One of our living room mirrors that I wish I could bring back to NC and that I had room to hang, with the gorgeous purple flowers I bought today - they smell divine and I don't know what they are - enormous violets?
