Parc des Buttes Chaumont + Carol Mavor

Carol arrived on the eurostar from LOndon last night! We are all so happy to have her here and for oru last week of sun + heat to boot!

Guthrie waiting for his pizza yesterday at a funny little Turkish restaurant in Belleville on our way to the most charming park:
At the charming park, Parc des Buttes Chaumont, Paris NW, found by Harper on the map as a place we had not yet been - et voila! C'est magnifique!

Sprinklers, grottos, lakes, hills, gazebos, ice cream, bridges, amazing flowers, trees, cool shade and views of Paris!

Gare du Nord, waiting for Carol!

 Harper waiting for her pizza.

This odd building with a big white dome mound in the front courtyard is the French Communist Party Headquarters!!!!!!
 Waiting for my tagine...
 Felix for John Williams:

Outside the Communist headquarters, a plaque for the International Brigades!

My delicious tagine with almonds and prunes and couscous - the kids loved it!
